Welcome to the first official preview of THE CHAMP, a new series of photography zines, where each volume features a 60-page photo-essay on just ONE model. THE CHAMP is a collaborative art project between Yearbook & Client Magazine and each issue will be available in limited edition print and digital editions, at around 60 pages each. We will be releasing in the region of 50 collectable volumes, and we will be photographing the ins, the outs, the good the bad, warts n all – fashion, portrait, documentary and body (please note this edition includes nudity).
The very first volume features Canadian model Joey Kirchner at Soul Artist Mgmt, who was photographed for the entire issue by Joseph Lally. Joey was born in Redcliff, Alberta, Canada in 1991, and has worked several times with photography legend Alasdair McLellan and for an endless list of magazines including Arena Homme+, FHM, Huge Magazine, Stylecaster, Carbon Copy Magazine, Fucking Young and his client list has included Ralph Lauren, Barney’s New York, Y-3 and Ermanno Scervino. This release shows the different sides to Joey’s character and also lets us dip into his personal life. Please remember print editions are available in limited quantities only.
