Interview:

1. Hello. Welcome to Yearbook! How old are you and where are you from?
22. Yorktown, VA

2. How did you get into modeling and how long have you been doing it?
A photographer friend of mine needed to practice shooting people, so I offered to be his subject. After we shot, he saw that I had natural modeling skill and potential and since then he’s nurtured my career into what it is today. I wouldn’t be modeling if it wasn’t for him.

3. What things are you truly passionate about?
Family and using whatever means I have to help those around me.

4. What is the most common misconception about you?
That I’m 18.

5. What is your heritage/ethnic background?
French and North African

6. If not New York City, where else would you love to live?
I’d love to move back to Germany, or really anywhere overseas! I love experiencing foreign cultures firsthand.

7. Is modeling mostly work or mostly fun for you?
A little of both. While I do love modeling because of all of the characters I meet and experiences I have, I understand that fashion is an industry and like any industry it needs to have a level of professionalism.

8. Who are some of your favorite music artists?
Black Eyed Peas, No Doubt, Mariah Carey, Paramore; really everything honestly!

9. Do you go to clubs, and are you a good dancer?
I don’t really club, but I wish I had time to because I’m an awesome dancer! If I do say so myself.

10. Do you spend more time with friends or with family?
If I had the option, family.

11. Along with modeling, would you consider a career in acting?
I actually already act sometimes.

12. What is both your favorite and least favorite thing about modeling?
My favorite thing about modeling is the fact that I get to express myself artistically through myself while collaborating with other people with different ideas. My least favorite part is the lack of respect models generally get in this industry. I’ve seen too many situations where an entire team gets paid, but the model gets trade at best. We have bills too!

13. As a model, is dating difficult? And if yes or no, tell us why!
Nope. If you’re with the right person, they’ll understand that what you do is a career and purely acting. Nothing you see in photos is reality. This is an industry built on fantasy.

14. What physical feature do people admire most about you?
My skin.

15. What is your favorite food?
Anything pickled! Weird, I know.

16. What is your favorite quote or or famous last words?
“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” -George Bernard Shaw

17. What are 3 things we don’t know about you?
I love foreign music, I’m a great cook, and I eat more Snowballs and BlowPops than the average person should.
